Musona to Kaizer Chiefs before end of the week?

Musona could a Kaizer Chiefs player by the end of the week

Chiefs football manager Bobby Motaung previously revealed that Musona will return to the country to sign with them should there be no European offers for him by July 31.

Kaizer Chiefs could acquire Knowledge Musona's signature by the end of this week unless his parent club TSG Hoffenheim receive enticing offers from other European clubs between today (Monday) and Thursday.

AmaKhosi and Hoffenheim have agreed that the player will be allowed to return to the PSL if he doesn't get any offers by the end of this month (July).

Musona is currently undergoing rehabilitation with Hoffenheim, as he continues to recover from an ankle injury that he suffered toward the end of last season.

And therefore chances of him signing with another European club before the end of this week are slim, paving way for Chiefs to either get him on loan or buy him back.

The Zimbabwean forward scored 16 goals in all competitions for AmaKhosi last term, and although he previously expressed his desire to play in Europe, he would still welcome a move back to the Naturena outfit if nothing concrete comes up.

Chiefs coach Stuart Baxter indicated, after the Soweto Derby match on Saturday, that he hasn't given up on getting Musona back into his team, especially now that his regular players are injured, but admitted that he doesn't know the situation with the 24-year-old marksman.
