Amrouche, Gateri join Kenya camp in Maseru
Harambee Stars coach is suspended for two matches and did not travel with team while South African-based David Gateri has linked up with team.
Harambee Stars coach Adel Amrouche has linked up with team in Maseru ahead of Sunday’s African Cup of Nations qualifier against Lesotho.
Amrouche is suspended for two matches and did not travel with team on Friday. South African-based midfielder David Gateri has also joined team in Maseru.
“Amrouche and Gateri are the latest to join squad here,” Football Kenya Federation official Elly Mukolwe told Goal.
“Amrouche is suspended for the match but his arrival will boost confident of these players. We need a comfortable result to bring back to Kenya and Amrouche will train team before Sunday’s match.”
Mukolwe also confirmed that the match will kick-off at 3pm (Lesotho time), 4pm (Kenyan time).
