M’Baye scores 27 as Clippers beat Miami

With an eye-catching performance Amath M’Baye inspired the Los Angeles Clippers to beat the Miami Heat 91-85 in Monday’s Summer League action in Las Vegas.
After a 14-point performance in Saturday’s 86-70 defeat to the Chicago Bulls, the French-Senegalese helped the Clippers past the Heat with a game-high 27 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists.
The win was Clippers’ first in two games in this year’s Summer League edition.
In his second consecutive Summer League with the Clippers, after going undrafted last year, M’Baye had two ferocious dunks in Monday’s outing against the Heat, sending the Thomas And Mack Centre into frenzy.
The 6-foot-8 forward who spent this past season playing overseas, after playing one season with the Oklahoma University, was 9 for 15 from the floor to lead his team in scoring.
