Mariga vows to play regularly for Parma FC.

Kenyan midfielder is unveiled at Parma FC on Thursday.

Kenyan midfielder reveals his delight at making comeback to Parma and vows to pay club faithfuls with top class performance in on-going season.

Kenyan midfielder Macdonald Mariga has vowed to cement starting role at Parma FC after signing a one year-deal at Italian club.
Speaking on his unveiling ceremony on Thursday, Mariga said, “I worked so hard to get back to my best and I'm still working hard to return my previous fitness.
“I am now encouraged to return to Parma after several years out struggling with injury and want to perform well for the club. My immediate task is to regain starting role and afterwards I want to be a regular starter.
“It was a difficult year for me last season. I stayed out for several months without playing football. I want to thank God that I am back and ready to play.
“I also want to thank Parma family for having confidence in me. It was not an easy decision to return to Parma permanently after my stint at Inter Milan.
"I will do my best when called upon by the coach to play in any match,” Mariga told Parma official website.
Mariga completed a return to Parma on a one-year deal after transfer deadline day. The Kenyan international was a free agent after his contract at Inter Milan expired at the end of last season.
Mariga spent three seasons with the Italians before moving across Serie A to join Inter Milan in 2010.
