Dortmund could have put four past Arsenal, says Kehl

The experienced midfielder claims the Gunners "never really offered much" and were fortunate the hosts did not make the most of their chances

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Sebastian Kehl feels Arsenal were fortunate to lose Tuesday's Champions League clash by only two goals.
Ciro Immobile gave the Bundesliga outfit the lead in the dying seconds of the first half before Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang made it two immediately after the break as Jurgen Klopp's side dominated proceedings.
Kehl claims he never had any doubts Dortmund would bag the full three points and feels the Gunners were fortunate not to lose by a greater margin.
"Arsenal never really offered much. I was very confident after we got the first goal and I knew we'd be going for it again in the second half. We could easily have won three or four-nil," Kehl told the official Uefa website.
"I'm not really surprised by how dominant we were. We know we can be very good when we put a lot into it and that's what happened Tuesday night.
"Arsenal never really got into the game, they never really got going, and in the end we scored and deserved to win based on the way we played. We were alert, in good form and that caused them a lot of problems.
"I never really felt that [it wasn't going to be our day] because they never got a hold in the game."
Dortmund meet Anderlecht in Brussels on October 1 in their second Group D encounter.
