Why KRA declined Sh2million from AFC Leopards

AFC Leopards were so desperate to get the signature of Kenyan midfielder Godfrey Kataka they offered his club KRA a whooping Sh2million fee.

AFC Leopards' were so desperate to get the signature of Kenyan midfielder Godfrey Kataka they offered his club KRA a Sh2million transfer fee, it has emerged.
But the tax men declined to take the money insisting that being their first season in the top league, they needed all their best players.
KRA coach Ken Kenyatta confirmed he was under extreme pressure to release Kataka but he declined. “Many clubs wanted him. AFC Leopards even offered us Sh2million but we refused. We are new in Kenyan Premier League and need all our top players to do well,” he told Goal.
The tax men are making their first appearance in KPL and are doing well mostly thanks to Kataka.
Kenyatta has ruled out any sale of the player in future insisting that they too want to win big things on local scene.
