FKF briefs Fifa on Sholei replacement.

Kenya FA President Sam Nyamweya and vice-chairman Robert Asembo in Eldoret.

World body Fifa is expected to endorse resolutions passed by Kenya FA delegates during a Special General Meeting held in Eldoret last Friday.

World governing body, Fifa, is expected to endorse resolutions passed by Football Kenyan Federation delegates during a Special General Meeting held in Eldoret last Friday.
Goal have been made to understand that Kenya FA have written a letter to Fifa General Secretary Jerome Valcke and copied it to Caf detailing accounts of the process of replacing suspended officials, whose positions were filled during the meeting.
A Special General Meeting held in Eldoret voted to approve proposals of Robert Asembo, Simon Mugo and Mohammed Omar as vice-chairman and national Executive committee members respectively.

"The President of FKF has written to Fifa informing them of decisions of SGM and if all goes well Zurich should give their nod anytime this week," a source told Goal.

"If you understand chronology of events then you know that the letter to Zurich is merely to inform them of progress and nothing like seeking approval from Fifa," added the source.

In June, FKF delegates attending a general meeting in Nakuru resolved to suspend then vice-chairman Sammy Shollei and Nairobi branch boss Dan Shikanda while expelling Hussein Terry for alleged misconduct.

And on Friday last week, an SGM discussed agenda of replacing the three and subsequently approved names floated by NEC. The delegates' vote was 36 in favour and 14 against, giving NEC proposal approval by a clear majority before FKF unveiled new officials in Nairobi on Monday.
Shollei, Shikanda and Terry had gone to court seeking orders to stop the meeting in Eldoret but high court judge Mumbi Ngugi dismissed their case saying they had filed it "so late in the day."
Lady Justice Ngugi further advised the trio to seek to resolve their conflict within FKF dispute resolution mechanism as any other avenue had no legal ground.

Goal has established that Nyamweya attached court ruling in his letter to Fifa.
