Harambee Starlets yet to depart despite obtaining visas.

Goal understands that the Starlets are currently held up at Kasarani Hostels as FKF personnel makes frantic efforts to secure flight to Johannesburg.
Harambee Starlets are yet to depart for South Africa to face Banyana Banyana in Olympic qualifier on Saturday despite securing visas for the traveling contingent on Friday.
Starlets are currently holed up at Kasarani as Football Kenya Federation officials make frantic efforts to secure a flight to Johannesburg. “We received our visas today (Friday) and also visited Devolution Minister Anne Waiguru, who donated playing kits and uniforms to the team," a source with team told Goal.
“After that we were informed to head back to Kasarani from where we will be advised accordingly. We are relaxing here at Kasarani waiting for the next course of action. What I am made to understand is that we don’t have a flight to South Africa scheduled for today (Friday).
“I have fears that we might be forced to depart tomorrow (Saturday) and arrives hours to the match and this will not be good for the girls’ because they will be jetlagged.”
Kenya sailed to the second phase of the qualifiers after tossing out Botswana on away goal rule after a 2-2 aggregate draw. The return leg will be played at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos on August 1.
