Former AFC Leopards custodian happy with new signings
at FKF Premier League side Nakumatt and insists they will earn
promotion to top flight.
Former Gor Mahia, Sony Sugar and AFC Leopards
goalkeeper Wycliffe Kasaya has expressed optimism that his new side
Nakumatt FC will finish amongst top three teams in the league. The FKF Premier League side have made quality signings in the just concluded transfer window bringing in Donald Mosoti, Martin Imbalambala, Kasaya among others, and with those signings the Harambee Stars custodian is confident the team will steadily rise and be among the teams that shall gain promotion at the end of the season.
“I am happy with what I have seen so far in the team. The players are amazing and everything here is good. We are looking forward to the start of the second leg which I am sure we will be a hard nut to crack due to recent developments in the club. Quality has been added and as a result, we expect the second half to be exciting in terms of results,” Kasaya told Goal on Friday.
“The aim will be the top three, that is what we want, and with these players, we can achieve it. But finishing on top also is possible, very possible because the gap is not that big, putting in mind we have seventeen matches to go. We will take every game as it comes with an aim of finishing as high as possible.”
