National team Harambee Stars have moved their training to City Stadium ahead of this weekend’s Peace Cup in Rwanda and continental qualifiers.

National team Harambee Stars have moved their training to City Stadium ahead of this weekend’s Peace Cup in Rwanda.

The team started training at the dilapidated Hope Center on Wednesday but had to be moved a day later following complaints from players and members of the technical bench.

The national team has not been able to train at their traditional grounds-Kasarani which is closed for a private function. Coach Bobby Williamson has to work with less than half the number of players he called up as the Kenyan Premier League is still in session.

On Wednesday, only 13 players turned up for training on the first day and the number was expected to go up. Apart from the Peace Cup, the team will also take part in the Africa Nations Championships (Chan) Cup qualifier against Ethiopia and 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Congo Brazzaville.
